Hypnosis is the act of guiding someone into a state of relaxation, hyper-focus, concentration or Increased suggestibility. The hypnotist uses hypnosis to guide the client through self healing.
Absolutely! You go through hypnosis when you sleep each night. When you are so engrossed in a book or movie that you become unaware of your surroundings, you're in a state of hypnosis. Have you driven home but were so deep in thought that you don't remember the drive? That was hypnosis. Day dreaming is a state of hypnosis. It is completely natural and safe.
No! Hypnosis is a very relaxed state that allows you to access your subconscious or "feeling mind" where you experience emotions. This is where issues begin.
No. You are fully awake. It's like you're watching a movie or reading a book of your own memories and you get so deep into it that you feel like you're there. Like being deep in a novel or movie and you're unaware of your surroundings.
No. Hypnosis is perfectly safe. If you've driven home but were in such deep thought about something that you don't remember the drive, you were in a state of hypnosis. You do it everyday.
I cannot guarantee how successful your session will be. Some people see immediate results. Some people see gradual results and for others it is retrospective. Unfortunately, some see no results. It mostly depends on how much the client wants to rid themselves of the issue. No one can make you do anything you don't want to do.
During a session, I will have you sit comfortably and take some deep breaths to help you relax. I'll ask you to keep your face looking forward but look up with your eyes. While keeping your eyes up, you'll close your eyelids. I'll ask you to picture in your mind 10 steps descending and relax more and more with each step you take. By the time you get to the bottom step, you feel very relaxed. You can still hear everything going on in the room, my voice asking you questions, shuffling papers as I take notes and you'll be viewing events in your mind that happened in your life that has brought on the issue. Together we'll work out how those events caused you to form beliefs about yourself that are false and I can help you see the truth and help you change those beliefs.
This is not "stage hypnosis" where I make you walk around and cluck like a chicken. If hypnotist could do that, they could make you empty your bank account and deposit it into their's. I cannot make you do anything you do not want to do. This is a light level of hypnosis used for self healing and nothing more.
We'll discuss your issue to see if RTT is a good fit for you. If we think you would benefit from a session, I'll send you an intake form via email. I'll look over your answers to make a final decision if RTT can help you. I'll get back in touch with you and as long as we both feel good about having a session, we'll schedule your session.

I will make a 15 - 20 minute personalized recording for you. Listen to it for at least 21 days to reinforce the healing.
In about a week to 10 days, I will contact you to see how you're doing. We can decide then if you need an updated recording or if there's anything I can do at that point to help you. I'll contact you again 2 weeks later to check on your progress. We'll decide at that time if you need an additional session. Additional sessions are half price for the same issue.

Angie grew up and continues to live in South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Winthrop University in 1985 and was in education for 34 years. Angie wanted to do something meaningful with her life after her teaching career and discovered Marisa Peer and her Rapid Transformational Therapy or RTT. Angie chose RTT because she found that it uses many Biblical principles that work. Angie studied under Marisa Peer, Britain's number 1 therapist and earned her Practitioner License in January of 2020. Angie has worked with clients in several US states, England, Canada, Brazil, Iceland and Nova Scotia all through Zoom. If you are fortunate to live in the midlands of South Carolina, Angie has also done several in person sessions. RTT works just as well through Zoom as it does in person so Angie was able to start her practice in the middle of the Pandemic.
